A textile design series, of urban inspiration

In the origin of mankind, the individual contemplated his surrounding world and translated his observations into simple yet accurate and expressive cavernary paintings. His almost photografic drawings were accompanied of ritual dances and songs, which led to magical thinking, and in last instance, to image.
As a designer, I work on series of textile designs of urban inspiration, graffiti art and images originated in urban tales and characteres. These images, born from unconscious creations by graffiti artists, somehow reflect the spirit of the times, as well as all what is kept hidden, and socially left unsaid. This inspiration seeks to reflect reality in everyday constructions and give testimony of it.
